COVID-19 Guidelines

Our guidelines for the upcoming season have been updated due to the latest recommendations from the state.  Please remember that these guidelines are subject to change throughout the season.

Practices
- All players and coaches must check their temperature prior to practice.
- Anyone with a temperature of 101 and greater must not attend practices and games for 14 days or until they receive clearance from a doctor.
- Try to maintain social distancing as best as possible.  Don't group players side-by-side for drills.
- No gum, seeds, or spitting
- Parents to maintain social distancing or just stay in their car
- No sharing of equipment, unless you can sanitize between use.  Bat handles are about the only thing that is easily sanitized between use.

Games
- All players and coaches must check their temperature prior to practice.
- Anyone with a temperature of 101 and greater must not attend practices and games for 14 days or until they receive clearance from a doctor.
- Try to maintain social distancing as best as possible. Players should be spread out in the dugout area instead of all sitting on the bench.  There shouldn't be more than 3 players sitting on our benches at any time due to their size.
- No gum, seeds, or spitting
- No sharing of equipment, unless you can sanitize between use.  Bat handles are about the only thing that is easily sanitized between use.
- Each team will be responsible for the softball while they're in the field
- No handshakes, fist bumps after games
- Fans must maintain social distancing guidelines
- Stands on field 2 are closed to fans as they will be used as an extension of the dugout

We recommend that coaches wear masks when communicating closing to players (ex: when coaching 3rd or 1st and talking to a player on base) and for players to wear them when on the bench.

We are recommending that anyone returning from any of the states listed below refrain from participating in team activities for 14 days.
Alabama
Florida
Idaho
South Carolina
Mississippi
Arizona
Georgia
Nevada
Texas

Please do your part to help us have a season this year.  With KY numbers going up, there is a very good chance that youth sports get shut down again.  We want to see the girls get an opportunity to play this year, but we also want the girls, coaches, umpires, and you to remain healthy.
